Hong Kong!!!

Monday, June 5th, 2006

The tiImg_0024me is now 2330 hours, in simple terms, its 11.30pm. Here I am at the de sk in my room at the Kowloon Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Breezy winds there were as this country begins to welcome summer. Reflection of my previo us visit last August during summer…my goodness, how hot n humid it was! It has been 4 days that I have been here, thinking of home and especially of my dear all the time, counting the seconds when I will be able to see her standing at the gate of her new house which she will be moving into tomorrow, 6th June 2006 (6/6/06). More despair for me as I will not be able to assist her in moving. Even worst, I had to miss her Birthday. It would’ve been the very first time that we will be celebrating her Birthday together. Guilt is mostly what I feel inside. This is why it lead me to try to arrange things so that she’d be surprised and to lessen my own guilt at the same time. Oh how I have been longing to get onto Flight MH 73 tomorrow afternoon, as I head straight home, get my car and travel to her brand new house.

Anyway, my buddy n roommate, nic’s currently talking to himself as he usually does, haha! Great friend and funny guy to hang out with! After 5 days in Hong Kong, much we have learnt, much we have spent as well until we are now worried if we will be able to pay for the transport to the airport tomorrow. ;(

This rooImg_0001m on the other hand, is absolutely LAVISHING, it just feels great for the both of us to live like Kings for the past 4 nights. Just the classy feeling of being in this room, dressing in their very comfortable robes, feeling pampered from the many varieties of hot drinks we can make from, a beautiful pot of Chinese Tea that greeted out arrival on the first night, and overall, the hospitality is great! for HK 1480 per night, it is just MARVELLOUS!

Walking around Hong Kong is yet another experience. Its like every single corner we past by, there will be a 7-Eleven Store…LITERALLY!!! but the booze is very cheap. my favourite Bud is only about RM4, less than half the price. Mong Kok on the other hand is without a shadow of Img_0143a doubt, the most densed populated area in the world!!! The amount of people is simply nuts!!! Throngs and Throngs Img_0168of ppl everywhere!!! Bought a few T-Shirts from Giordano, and experienced the simple and very worthed Breakfast nearby the hotel!

Well, I believe this is all i’ll say. Just w anted to share my thoughts since I’ve been in this country for the past 4 days. Till the next time, i gotta sleep…ciao!
