Sky Blue, new hairstyle & kids!

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

*GASP*!!! It was the horrendously suprisingly look on my face as i waited outside my dear’s door and as she opened it……………Nah, I’m just kidding!!! If she was reading this, she’d kill me…A brand new hairstyle for a brand new week, time again i have stressed to her that if she’d even go BOTAK, i’d still stand firm beside her, never moving. perhaps i’ll go botak myself too. hehe. I’m saying it here as she will not listen to me. "Your hairstyle is GOOD! Do not feel threatened or dissapointed! It just shows you give up/give in too easily, which i believe you don’t. Be strong! Be cool! Be brave! Be yourself…

What a day it has been…i was dressed in my standard attire i wear to all my centre’s Recognition Days. White shirt, my coat and my favourite Sky Blue tie dat me dear & i picked out last September. She was also dressed similarly but without the tie. hee…The day began on a not so good note. the stomach ache i was hit with early this morn caused a delay in my journey to Pandan Indah. I got up at 6.30am, reached my dear’s place at 7.30 and headed straight to Bkt Beruntung. reached at 9am and began work, finished the recognition day at 1pm….AND STILL HAD NOT EATEN MY BREAKFAST NOR DRANK ANY LIQUID WHATSOEVER! so we rushed to sri damansara for the next session at McD’s. Enjoyed ourselves and adjourned to Mid Valley to enjoy our only ‘pak-toh’ session this weekend. so sad…beginning to hate working on weekends a hell of a lot!!! Anyway,as i write this dull blog of mine, me dear’s dozing off, refusing to sleep! still wan to accompany me to watch the match. summore gotta wake up early tomolo to fetch an associate from KL Sentral. sigh………

I am Absolutely certain I will go to work a Zombie tomorrow…

Kids sure say the darnest things!

They know more stuff at such a young age than we expect them too! If you remember the talk show by Bill Cosby who was the host of the show called, "Kids Say the Darnest Things", these kids nowadays sure know too much i would say! But i dare say, never ever underestimate a kid. Who knows, the kid we scolded once for breaking a glass cup would be our country’s next PM? Did Dr Mahathir’s former teacher know that one day he’d be the leader of Malaysia? No one knows…But one thing’s for sure, these little rascals can surely give us an answer that’ll leave us scratching our heads and wondering "did he just say that??"

As in my previous blogs, i did mention, when a child is born, everything is pure…And the capacity of their brains is way more huge than the largest space in the modern PC. Our brains will forever have space. This is why knowledge is neverending and that is y it makes it so powerful! This is what made Dr M so powerful, he was born with a brain empty like everyone else. But his thirst and hunger for information gave him the unique advantage over his peers.

As a conclusion, NEVER EVER UNDERESTIMATE kids and knowledge. When these two combine, who knows what force beacons within them…

If ‘good’ knowledge then peace we shall have. If ‘bad’ knowledge then doomsday looms ever closer…

Farewell…

Friday, February 24th, 2006

My weDscn1699ekend begins today, Saturday, in the office…sigh. A great time i had last night as we bid a fond farewell to one of our colleagues, Zam. In actual fact, it is 2 of our colleagues who left us this past week. Helen left on Tuesday and yesterday was Zam. Helen would still be in contact with us as we gave her a mini standing ovation and line-up in the office to bid her farewell one by one. As for Zam, I would describe him as the coolest and most calm colleague of mine! Never ever have I seen him shout, nor lose his temper, nor argue, nor create or make trouble. He is forever calm when talking or joking with us all. I strongly believe that among all the staff, Zam was the one who kept his sanity WELL INTACT! By the way, I strongly recommend to try the Satay outlet at the Sg Buloh Restoran Jejantas. The name of the place is Satay Samuri, i think. Fantastic sauce they have!

"One by one they leave us, the Fellowship is breaking…"

"Fortunately, a true friendship i have developed with these amazing individuals, individuals who are humane, individuals who are caring, individuals who are at peace with themselves and everyone around them. I just hope the ending to our lives here on Earth will be similar to the Lord of the Rings as peace prevails…"

Alright, time flies and it is time for me to leave the office to go home…My dear messaged me that she’s changed her hairstyle! I can’t wait to see it! hahaha…Nevertheless, no matter what hairstyle she’s gonna have, it was never her hairstyle that caught my attention that’s for sure! She says its like an English/British woman style. Unfortunately the only British women i could think of were those with olden day clothing and all of em wear hats! so how can i imagine her if i keep seeing a hat on top??? figures…

but i’ll be seeing her soon enough, bright and early tomorrow morning. can’t wait! hee…

this is Jee Onn, signing out for now, and if they lose to Wigan tomorrow night, i think i might start a "Die-Hard Man Utd Fans who currently hate their favourite club Club"

Sounds lame doens’t it?

Never Ever

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

As the week progresses, my life had its ups and downs. ups as in a chelsea LOSS to barcelona!!! YEAH BABY!!! but downs as in a packed weekend that robs me of my personal time once again.

It was yesterday that a really inconsiderate SOB parked his car behind ours. So there we were, getting into our car after dinner. The guy and his girl were at Domino’s which was right in front of us. The shop had a glass door, and the girl actually saw us and told her guy about it. We slowly got into our car and the guy didn’t move…UNTIL we sounded the horn, did he get his fat lazy ass up from the chair and walk towards his car. So, we backed out slowly, purposely delaying time as we reversed and took our own sweet time. the guy drove into the lot, got our and started shouting. My mom winded down the window, and screamed at him back. This time round, the pace of the anger that grew within me was like lightning!!! If my mom did not drive off, i would have gotten out of the car and confronted that SOB! He is the type that would retaliate which would give me the chance to defend myself and attack him!!! physically reminding him to NEVER EVER talk to my mom like that and to NEVER EVER be an inconsiderate bastard!!! NEVER EVER have i had the chance to do this kinda act and NEVER EVER would I do it based on my principles but when things go way too far, when he insults my family, if he tries to hurt the ones i love, then there will be No Holds Barred!!! and NEVER EVER will i let this bastard off the hook! Retribution he will be receiving, in full force!

Next on today’s thoughts inside my head is power…

Is having power far more important than having respect?

Is having power far more important than having good relationships?

Is having power far more important than family and friends?

Is having power far more important than going against what are usually practised?

Is having power far more important than opening one’s mind to learn?

Is having power more important than being HUMANE?

Do we use it wisely when its bestowed upon us or do we become someone different, someone who has lost their own self-respect, someone who has lost the respect of their friends, colleagues and families, someone who has chosen to become someone they were not, someone who is hated…I hate that feeling! I do not want and I do not like to hate a person, but there are just too many people in this world, with all kinds of personalities and characteristics. BUT that doesn’t give anyone a reason to be hated. It is possible, with everyone playing their part.

NEVER EDscn1590_1VER should one think of power before humanity, NEVER EVER should one misuse the powers bestowed upon them, as life is precious, life is meaningful, life is about everyone that constitutes our planet Earth, life is everywhere and everything around us. Take Care of it, Treasure it, Love it, and NEVER EVER insult it…

"NEVER EVER be someone you are not, be the person you were born to be! But be reminded that when one is born, everything is pure…"

Gloomy week ahead…

Sunday, February 19th, 2006

This is not the way for me to start the week. What a letdown…ONCE AGAIN!!! I’ve thought about it and also I told my colleague. The management of my co. is so similar to the management of Man Utd. They do not seem to see the problem and keeps repeating them time again. Damn it!!! Also, similar as in everyone else sees the problem but unfortunately, what can we do? NOTHING!

the day I praise Darren Fletcher is the day i’ll strike a lottery win!

To make matters worse, Alan Smith is out for the rest of the season. Call it bad luck i guess.

I just realised i have to change my plan. I had planned last week that i would take a few days off as I badly need a break, so does my dear, UNFORTUNATELY that plan will not happen as i remembered this morning that i can’t take leave on that day. Sucks man! This is gonna be another torrid week, working everyday, including saturday n sunday. sigh…I am wondering how long my energy will be able to last here…it fades time again, but somehow, i regain and regenerate it as well. gotta persevere though…can’t give up and will not!

It is also painful for me to see my dear who’s currently so stressed up and frustrated. If only i was a person with a criminal insane mind, i’d PULVERISE those SOBs that are responsible for making her this sad and depressed. I’d make sure an arm and leg is broken, maybe i’ll also break the nose too, to remind that tall individual to NEVER mess with a criminally insane person’s girlfriend!!! HAHAHA!!!

That is IF i am…but I am not. I believe everyone will pay for what they have done, both good and bad. If you do good, good things’ll come, if you do bad, when the time comes, you’re screwed!

why is life so complicating?

why are there all these terrorism and disrespect for religion around the world?

The more we seem to modernise, the more we come close to war,

Education is the answer to compromise, as its beauty is at our doors

Ciao……..

A Rare Weekend…

Friday, February 17th, 2006

AhhhCcb…This is life…Nothing like a great cup of Cable Car Blend coffee on a Saturday morning to get me going. I had to get up early today, fetch my girl as we headed toward the San Francisco Coffee house at our office, the Millennium Tower at Damansara Heights. She was having a meeting with a few teenagers who completed the Kumon programme and they discussed their topics as I sipped my favourite coffee while reading the Star. It was so relaxing compared to the usual Saturdays which I would be working and feeling all drained out by the end of the day. This is why this IS a RARE weekend.

It is an exciting day today! I’m dressed in my favourite jersey with my idol’s name n number included at the back of it. Cuz tonight’s the BIG game between my team, Manchester United and my long-time rivals Liverpool. It is always a big thing when it comes to these two giants of the game. Somehow lady luck shined brightly on the Reds last season, so brightly that they actually won the European Cup! What the hell~!!! It was A Steal! A Lie! An Undeserved achievement!!! But whatever the case, as if i have the power to change that. So, the past is done, we’ll focus on tonight and i hope to see the Devils ram their spears into the so-called mighty reds as we maintain our fantastic result against them.

Trivia: In the FA Cup, the oldest knock-out competition in the world, the last time Liverpool won over Man Utd was 85 years ago. Therefore tonight we’ll make it 86 years! hahaha!!!

Anyhow, I hope to enjoy the game…who am i lying to…i will enjoy the game ONLY if Man Utd wins of course! :p

One question, what do we do OR can we do when we realise that an organisation stresses a lot on a few aspects that is important to achieve their targets, BUT!!! they themselves do not practise these aspects. How the hell do we meet the targets if we ourselves do not want to change and OPEN our BLOODY eyes to SEE and REALISE that in the current situation, if NOTHING is done, TO HELL with the targets! so happen that right now, NOTHING is being done!

go figure…

Humans (with feelings and brains), NOT robots (humans without feelings and brains) that rule our planet Earth. The day robots take over is the day the inevitable demolition of the human race…

By the way, dinner last night was fantastic!! I strongly recommend for those who love to eat, especially Japanese buffet. The place is called ‘Shogun’. Its located at the new wing of 1-Utama shopping mall.

Au Revoir…

"Glory, Glory Man United"

And so it begins…

Thursday, February 16th, 2006

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away…there lies Earth and its human beings that inhabit its world. A little journey around this planet and we approach the region of Asia, thus landing on a land that consists of men & women that differ in their respective cultures. This land is called Malaysia…And so I begin my blog writing today, 17th February 2006.

Cantona 7. that is my nickname for ages, it was my first and it is still my nick. To the younger generation, they might not be aware of this person who elevated the club of Manchester United to endless trophies and fortunes. A magician, a player with enormous foresight, what the French called "Le God", what fans called The King & chants his name till this very day at Old Trafford and what i call my idol…It was not his achievements that mattered, rather it was his presence, his guidance, his nature as a mentor to the class of ‘92, his arrogance, his magnificent skills on the field, his comments that usually leaves us to think what he Cantonaflymeans and why he means to say it, and the infamous flying kick he bestowed upon a vulgar fan of the opposing team, that left us all in a standing ovation as he left the field of Old Trafford for the very last time in 1997. My only dream and wish is to see him take the helm of Old Trafford when Sir Alex steps down. I would just sit back and imagine the magic that could happen……….

Time flies…today, non of the higher ppl in my company are in, which actually plays a part in me starting up my blog today. For the very first time in a year that i’ve been working here, i’ve never felt more relaxed and composed. There is no tension nor stress, whereas smiles and happiness are present on everyone’s face. As the ol’ song from the Beach Boys, "Wouldn’t It Be Nice", so i say here,

wouldn’t it be nice if everyday was like today,

and i could get my work done more effectively & efficiently anyway,

thus a longer life we shall live and a younger complexion we’d all have all the way…

Jeeonn_1My dear, I am glad you loved your presents which you received on valentines. It is not easy to get them but with the magical number 3, a bit of luck and perseverance, i did. hee.   :)

Well, i guess dat’s all from me now. Will be looking forward to tonight’s dinner at the new Japanese buffet at 1-Utama called Shogun. We’re celebrating Wai Sim’s burfday as well as Helen’s farewell.

Ciao!
